Higher and Longer than Expected

I finally finally finished reading Higher: A Historic Race to Sky and the Making of a City. So in the end the book was good but it was a little (ok a lot) slow going. When the book was interesting and juicy is was great. When it went on and on about the amount of tons of steel, how many men worked, etc etc etc it was very boring. But it was pretty cool reading about the Chrysler building and then looking out the window at work and seeing it. My husband and I now debate: I like the Chrysler building and he likes the Empire State building. Which one do you like better? (photos are not mine)
