As many of you may know, I am no longer a New Yorker, so please check out my new blog A Library of My Own. If you are just reading Life and Times, you are missing out. Thanks!

Pay it Forward - Giveaway

I guess I'm just in a Spring cleaning kind of mood. I have ANOTHER giveaway.

This one has some requirements though if you win.  Here's the Pay It Forward rules:

THE RULES: The focus of this is to do an act of kindness without expecting anything in return other than that the recipient will, in their turn, pass the kindness along and "pay it forward." I will send a small, fun gift to 3 bloggers who post a comment on this entry. In turn, those three will post this information and pick 3 people they want to send something to and then the game will continue!! The little something you send can be something you made, bought, were given or found, anything you want!! Just a gift that will make the person's day!! If you are interested in participating, leave a comment!! You have to promise that you will then post about this on your blog, link back to me, and then send something to three people who sign up to play along through your blog.

Sound good? Want to play along?

My three gifts for three bloggers is going to be New York themed.

Each of the three winners will win one of these books. They are withdrawn books from the New York public library that I bought at their book sale
The poster isn't included. Just thought it'd make a good backdrop. It's a something my husband bought me for a couple bucks from a street seller.

The three books are:

I See You Everywhere - Julia Glass
Belong to Me - Marisa de los Santos
Mistress of the Revolution - Catherine Delors

Click on the links to read my posts reviewing the books.  Mistress of the Revolution is one of my favorites.  In your comment please tell me in order what book you'd like so I know what to give you. Also tell me if you don't want one and I'll work with you on an alternative title.

Oh, and just to make sure you know that I didn't steal these from the library:
I'll also try to include some other random NY stuff.  Maybe even a t-shirt!  Ooo.

Ok.  Here's a photo of what I won from Brainella the Librarian. I am addicted to coffee and have to control the urge to buy tons of coffee mugs.  Aren't they gorgeous! Head over to her Etsy shop to check out her other cool pottery:
This contest will be open until April 14th and I'll pick a winner on April 15th.  This will be open world-wide.

Remember to include in your comment:
1) In order, which book you would like if you win
2) What size shirt you'd like
3) Promise to pay it forward if you win

Good luck!

  1. 1) I'm really only interested in I See You Everywhere.

    2) XL is probably a safe bet, but if it's a huge XL, I take an L. (Too confusing?)

    3) Of course I'll pay it forward! I'm a bookcrosser--we're all about random acts of kindness!
