As many of you may know, I am no longer a New Yorker, so please check out my new blog A Library of My Own. If you are just reading Life and Times, you are missing out. Thanks!

What I Read in November

I am so proud of myself this month. I read 13 Books!! That is the MOST I've ever read in a month. I've read a total of 87 books this years so just 13 more and I'll read my goal of 100 books this year. Think I can do it?

Here's the recap:

75. Gourmet Rhapsody - Muriel Barbery
76. Smoke and Mirrors - Neil Gaiman
77. Her Fearful Symmetry - Audrey Niffenegger
78. Only Milo - Barry Smith
79. Now & Then - Jacqueline Sheehan
80. The Graveyard Book - Neil Gaiman
81. Giv: The Story of a Dog and America - Boston Teran
82. The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society - Mary Anne Shaffer & Annie Barrows
83. The Creed of Violence - Boston Teran
84. The Sandman Vol 1.: Preludes and Nocturnes - Neil Gaiman
85. Arch Enemy - Frank Beddor
86. The Information Officer - Mark Mills
87. Hunter - Campbell Jefferys

Don't worry, my reviews will be coming ASAP.

**What all did you read this month? Did you have a favorite?

  1. That is fantastic! Since you are so close I definitely think you can do it.

  2. Look at you go! Congrats on such a wonderful reading month. I only wish I could touch those numbers for the year.

  3. Wow, you had a busy month! I can't wait to see what you thought of Gourmet Rhapsody and Her Fearful Symmetry. I have Gourmet Rhapsody in audio but couldnt finish, because I kept daydreaming! I may try the print version soon!

  4. Go Amanda! 13 would be quite an accomplishment for me. I've been averaging about 5-6/month these days due to a deathly combination of grad school and employment. Maybe I can get more read over Christmas break :)

  5. Congrats!!! There's a few on your list I've been wanting to read. I actually didn't get any reading done (I don't count re-reads) except Tempted by P.C. & Kristin Cast.

  6. I read "The Graveyard Book" (loved it) and "The Sandman" (liked it) recently, and I have the new Niffenegger book on my Kindle but haven't gotten to it yet. I got bored with "Edgar Sawtelle" halfway through and moved on to the latest Phil Rickman book, which I'm reading at the moment.

  7. Hooray! So, do you think you'll be able to keep it up next month and hit your 100-book goal?

  8. Awesome! I definitely think you can hit 100: goooo Amanda! :)

  9. Amazing reading progress! Keep it up!

Ohh, I'd love to read The Graveyard Book too. Looking forward to your review of it. :)
